About this place
The City says Central Beach stretches from the intersection of R.H. Dana Place and Ocean Boulevard north to the main lifeguard tower, with beach access mats, restrooms, public volleyball courts and year-round lifeguards listed as features. As a note on the same stretch of coast, Hotel del Coronado's own site, giving its address as 1500 Orange Ave., Coronado, CA 92118, describes the hotel as a beachfront icon dating to 1888.
