Lion dances, martial arts and food stalls fill Third Avenue and J Street in the Asian Pacific Historic District, San Diego's old Chinatown, for the Chinese New Year fair, a tradition run since 1983. The fair centres on the San Diego Chinese Historical Museum, whose home is at 404 Third Avenue.
